The Orange County BBQ Bonanza is accepting entries into The Best in the Orange County BBQ Rib Cook-off. Contestants need to pre-register. Entries will be taken up to August 7, 2012.
Entrants will give a sample size of no smaller than 3 ozs., to judges for judging. There will be a 5-6 judge panel.

The Orange County BBQ Bonanza uses a blind judging system. Contestants will be competing in three categories: The Best in Orange County BBQ Ribs, Sauce and People’s Choice. Judging will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 and conclude with an award presentation on Sunday, August 19, 2012.
First, second, and third place winners will be announced and a trophy awarded for The Best in Orange County BBQ Ribs and Sauce. The People’s Choice award will be presented to the team that receives the most votes from ticket holders during the competition event.
